The Raja Saab Enters ₹100 Cr Club in 3 Days — Here’s What the Occupancy Trends Reveal

The Raja Saab started its box office journey on a very strong note, pulling audiences to theatres in big numbers during its first two days. By the end of Saturday, the Prabhas-starrer had already collected an impressive ₹88.90 crore India net, setting the stage for a crucial Sunday test.

Now, early estimates for Day 3 are out.

As of the latest updates, The Raja Saab has earned around ₹18.66 crore India net on its third day across all languages. With this, the film’s total three-day India net collection stands at approximately ₹107.56 crore.

Crossing the ₹100 crore mark within three days is no small achievement. But when the excitement of the opening fades, the real story often lies in how well a film holds — and that’s exactly where Sunday’s numbers become important.

The Raja Saab’s opening day, including paid previews, began with ₹9.15 crore. Friday witnessed a massive jump, with the film collecting ₹53.75 crore, driven largely by Telugu markets along with decent support from Hindi and Tamil versions. Saturday saw a noticeable drop to ₹26 crore, which was expected after such a huge first day.

Sunday’s estimated ₹18.66 crore shows that while audiences are still coming in, the film is now entering its performance phase rather than its hype phase.

Telugu markets continue to remain the film’s backbone.

On Sunday, The Raja Saab recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 39.72 percent. The growth from morning to evening shows was clearly visible. Morning occupancy stood at 24.09 percent, which jumped significantly to 47.42 percent in the afternoon and 47.66 percent in the evening. This pattern suggests that audience interest strengthened as the day progressed.

Cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Warangal, Kakinada, and Mahbubnagar performed particularly well. Hyderabad saw an overall 50 percent occupancy, with evening shows touching around 65 percent. Warangal and Kakinada were even stronger, crossing the 56 percent and 58 percent marks respectively.

This indicates that core Telugu belts are still responding positively, especially during peak hours.

However, the picture looks more cautious in the Hindi belt.

The Hindi version of The Raja Saab registered an overall occupancy of 14.85 percent on Sunday. Morning shows remained low at 7.53 percent, while afternoon and evening shows improved slightly to 17.74 percent and 19.29 percent.

Among major regions, Bengaluru emerged as a better-performing Hindi market with 30 percent overall occupancy. Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Pune showed moderate traction. On the other hand, NCR, Bhopal, Surat, and Kolkata remained on the lower side, indicating that the film is yet to build strong momentum among the Hindi-speaking audience.

The Tamil version saw an overall Sunday occupancy of 23.84 percent.

Here too, the trend of stronger afternoon shows was evident. Afternoon occupancy peaked at 32.15 percent, while evening shows stayed at 22.43 percent. Chennai stood out as a key center, recording 35.67 percent overall occupancy. Pondicherry delivered an exceptional performance with 61 percent occupancy, though on limited shows.

Other Tamil Nadu regions such as Coimbatore, Trichy, and Dindigul posted mixed but encouraging numbers.

What these trends clearly show is that The Raja Saab is currently being driven mainly by Telugu audiences, while the Hindi and Tamil versions are moving at a slower, more cautious pace.

Despite this, entering the ₹100 crore club within three days gives the film a strong platform. The coming weekdays will now play a crucial role in deciding whether The Raja Saab can convert its big opening into a sustained theatrical run or whether it will depend heavily on weekends.

The film is directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory. It features Prabhas in the lead, along with Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles.

With solid initial numbers on the board and visible regional differences in audience response, The Raja Saab’s box office journey is now entering its most important phase. The next few days will reveal whether the film can maintain stability or if sharper drops are on the way.
